Injury Update

I have listed a few injuries that are of consequence for fantasy teams.  If you were counting on them this week, you might want to grab a replacement.

Week 8 Injuries

Dexter McCluster, RB/WR, (KC) - He will not play this week.  Make sure he is not stating for your team.

DeAngelo Williams, RB (Car) - He did not practice on friday and is listed doubtful.  You might want to prepare for Jonathan Stewart against a terrible St. Louis run defense.

Pierre Thomas and Reggie Bush, RB (NO) - They will both be held out and it looks like the carries will once again be handled by Christopher Ivory.

Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee, Wr (SD) - Both are projected to miss this week due to hamstring injuries.  Expect another nice showing from Patrick Crayton this week.

Alex Smith, QB (SF) - The real story isn't that Smith will be sitting out, but rather coach Singletary has decided to go with Troy Smith over David Carr.  I don't expect much fantasy wise from Troy, but you might want to keep an eye on how Michael Crabtree and Vernon Davis take to him.
